Cookie Policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small strings of text that the sites visited by the user send to their terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored to be transmitted to the same sites on the next visit of the same user. While browsing a site, the user can also receive cookies on his terminal that are sent from different websites or web servers (c.d. “third parties”), on which some elements may reside (such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) on the site that the user is visiting.
Thanks to cookies, the server sends information that will be reviewed and updated every time the user returns to the site. In this way, the website can automatically adapt to the user, improving the browsing experience. In addition, cookies provide the site operator with anonymous information on users’ navigation, also to obtain statistical data on the use of the site and improve navigation. The information collected through cookies can also be used to build a “profile” of the preferences manifested by the user during navigation, for the purpose of customizing commercial promotion messages.
Type of cookie
On the basis of the legislation on the protection of personal data cookies can therefore be divided into “technical”, for the use of which the user’s consent is not required, and “profiling” for promotional purposes, for which it is necessary to collect the user’s consent.
This first list does not refer to the cookies actually used on this website.
In detail:
Technical Cookies: This type of cookie is further divided into:
- Navigation/ session cookies: These are fundamental cookies to navigate the site using all its features, such as maintaining the session and access to restricted areas. They are strictly necessary, as without them it would not be possible to provide the requested services. These cookies do not collect information to be used for commercial purposes.
- Functionality cookies: They allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (such as language) in order to provide the user with a better browsing experience. The information collected by this type of cookie is anonymous.
Analytics cookies: They collect and analyze information on the use of the site by visitors (pages visited, number of accesses, time spent on the site, etc.) to optimize the management of the site. These cookies do not collect information that can identify you in any way.
Third party cookies: Cookies installed by other sites, accessible from the site but managed by other parties (third parties). In this case, the site owner only acts as a technical intermediary between the user and these sites.
For information on the use of cookies and their qualification, consult the specific measure adopted by the Authority for the protection of personal data at the following address: http://www.garanteprivacy.it/web/guest/home/docweb/-/docweb-display/doc/web/3118884.
The cookies used in the site centroodontoiatricoleville.com are:
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AND RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
Anonymous cookies are real personal data. The user will then be subject “interested” pursuant to EU Regulation n. 2016/679 with regard to the processing of this data.
Legal basis of the processing
The legal basis for the processing of technical and functional cookies is to allow proper navigation on the Site.
The provision of personal data is optional (the user can delete cookies stored on his device at any time) but may affect the experience on the Site.
The legal basis for the processing of cookies for which the current legislation requires the consent of the data subject (analytical cookies of anonymous third parties and profiling cookies) is, in fact, the consent of the data subject.
The provision of personal data is therefore optional and failure to provide it will not have any negative consequences for the user.
